
Street Taco Ingredients (makes 16 tacos):
- 1 ½ pounds marinaded flank steak
- 1 white onion (diced)
- 2 heaping handfuls of MHF Cilantro Microgreens
- 16 mini tortillas (your choice of corn or flour)
Steak Marinade Ingredients:
- ½ Cup olive oil
- 4 Tbsp fresh squeezed lime juice
- ½ Cup MHF Cilantro Microgreens (chopped)
- 4 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp chili powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
Steak Marinade Instructions:
- Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
- Place steak in a glass baking dish with sides.
- Brush half of the marinade over the top of the steak to make sure it’s coated.
- Turn the steak over and coat with remaining marinade.
- Cover with plastic wrap and keep in refrigerator for 3 hours.
- Remove the steak from the refrigerator and bring to room temperature.
- Heat grill to medium-high and cook the steak 5-7 minutes per side.
- Let sit for 5 minutes before carving against the grain in thin tortilla size strips.
Taco Instructions:
- Warm tortillas in pan or microwave.
- Add sliced flank steak.
- Top with cilantro, onion and fresh squeezed lime wedges.
